Meet Heidi — Scottish Heart, Australian Soul

Heidi the Highland Cow spent much of her life on a farm in the stormy Scottish Highlands, a stone's throw from the mysterious waters of Loch Ness. She loves baking oatcakes and buttery shortbread, staying warm, and the moody green hills of Scotland — but she always dreamed of retiring somewhere a wee bit sunnier. Australia was the obvious choice. And if she's being honest, she was also growing rather tired of her woolly-headed husband Henry's lifelong obsession with luring Nessie out of the loch at all hours of the night. A woman can only take so much stubborn lowing from the riverbank. The Little Country Store is absolutely delighted she made the trip.
